No word to describe this masterpiece. I can't believe someone just start out late can archive something this wonderful quickly.
Just astonishingly beautiful piece.

Thanks man. Thank to you who trained me for first 2 weeks. The .IT is on my dropbox, check it out.
Dubepic!
Thanks (or thankstep? I have to think about...)
Pretty awesome. Nah, NG only support MP3. Why not put it on MODarchive.org?
Thanks, and I didn't know about MODarchive.org until just now, heh. I'll be checking that place out for sure.
You guys did a really good collaborative project. Seem like you two understand each other well enough to execute matters in pleasant ways.
Baroque, Renaissance and somewhat Contemporary styles. Well mixed. Well arranged.
I strongly agree with Pointrick. If I didn't look at the description then I wouldn't have noticed which part is your (Samulis, right?) and which is his (computer112). It is almost like it has been written by only a person. A professional composer.
However we have two professional composers here I'm afraid. :)
Hahaha. I'm glad you had trouble finding the transitions. We both write in different styles that both draw from the same elements throughout different periods... while I draw a bit more from Romantic-era, he draws more from contemporary. It evens out nicely with a great mix of feels.
Sweet Shit!
thanks!
I guess, fractal music then? Is it you or someone else who posted a thread on Fractalforums on fractal music and there are some similar showcase on it. Pretty awesome work.
Well I did post a thread on Fractalforums about fractal music. If that's what you're referring to, then yes, that was me.
I'm glad you enjoyed this! :D :D
So this is your response? Not bad. The waffle-kingdom should prepare for the next wave of attack once I arrive at Munich.
Soundtracker? That's gr8.
^.^ I like this challenge. I might hate to be an opponent with a music strongman like you but I love challenging. Especially using tracker, which very least people nowadays use it.
Sound tracker is for Linux only. I use Ubuntu to make it. If you want good tracker, get Screamtracker or OpenMPT for Windows.
Pretty awesome work, especially for 6 channel only. Keep it up.
I should come back to tracker sometime soon. I like Fasttracker.
Thanks man!
Trackers are a lot of fun, I totally advocate working with them more :D
MUNICH TUM OLD SCHOOL MEETS? YEEHAH BABY! Waffles you are coming too? Awesome little piece.
I'm going to Munich tomorrow, when will you come?
Going on this Saturday. Same location, of course.
Now this is the idea you have been talking about on the BBS? Damn you cunning... waffle!!!
I can't find anything to criticize you. It's perfect and clean! The ending is cleaned off nicely. Over 4 minutes but not boring at all. Great choice of chord progressions.
The unique of this song are:
- Guitar/bells/staccato-string leading, the melodies give you the feeling of rushing but never feel boring.
- Drum. I surprise that you are a quick learner. You have learned how to humanize the beats from our first collaboration. Kudos for the light rock bass-drum beats too.
- You beat me for using tracker to make this. In fact you beat any non-tracker classical musicians on Newgrounds. I know that you are a module-head since Amiga's Protracker. Kudos!
- You are maestro for turning Soundfont into something that marvelous. I salute to you Bernd!
- Last but nor least. It sounds so realistic. If I didn't read the description and even didn't know you, I would have thought this was live recorded.
Great work. Alright then, I am going to come up with something that unique to my style. Wait for that! Grr Grr!
You mad, Koenig? :3 ...jk lol! *salute with waffles*
Probably this is the largest project I have done so far on my own. I have to admit that it was difficult. I don't think the mock-up Irish strings are perfect. There are still some light vibrations around (I couldn't control my bow without having a need for 'extra vibration'!).
I think I got influences largely from Secret Garden duo, especially from Fionnuala Sherry (I luv her fiddling!). She's so hot too...nvm! Also from Máiréad Nesbitt.
I actually want to learn all kinds of fiddling style all around the world. Like I'm always curious how Hindi fiddling works. Or Chinese fiddling when I saw Tina Guo performed it. Fucking awesome.
Hell, my mom is half Irish. My dad is half Norwegian (...that drunk). I think it's in my genes that I know how to play bowed strings. My mom plays cello and my dad plays Norwegian fiddle.
So yeah I probably got influences from my parents too because I can move from cello to fiddle easily even distanced with years without playing any of them.

For tracker, I think except Scream Tracker and Renoise I used all other trackers on almost all platforms. From C64, Amiga, Atari to DOS and Linux. I like tracker because it's conveniences. You can do quick editing without wasting time on extra mixing. Some great trackers are Impulse Tracker, SunVox, ModPlug, Protracker and Fasttracker 2.
I actually have experienced with real life Celtic instruments in Dublin. However I never have any chance to learn how to play Irish nor Celtic fiddling styles professionally.
Soundfont samples are pretty decent. Same to Edirol Orchestra. I don't think I need to upgrade to some fancy money-waster shits like East West or Project Sam. Just in my opinions. I'm still a scener. I have warez and demoscene spirits. If I don't have something then I make it my own.
Hell, you were a scener once too. Where the fuck is your coding spirit, Koenig?
Thank you for your detailed reviews. I hope you read my uber-detailed replies too (I bet you will).
Come up with something epic then? Bite me bro!
