You should move to LA

and start your music career, people are gonna hire ya right away.
Was this song is your graduating perform? Whoa, you have a orchestra band to play this song huh, that is amazing.

nathanallenpinard responds:

Yes, it was the college string ensemble. I managed to get the conductor to play this piece. Also played it on a trip in Vegas too.

Matters here are not about studio

I love the effects man, and the ending parts. VOTE 5 FOR THIS ONE MAN. MAKE IT THE BEST TRACK OF THE WEEK.

Music is not depend on good or bad studio, if somebody was saying about limited money then get your ass off the chair and find a work to make your own studio.

I started to compose music with only an old keyboard from my aunt. Did it a f''king problem for good music huh? And now I am a musician composes tons of TV advertise' soundtrack. Does it still a damn problem now?

Yeah, do I need a big studio look like Hans Zimmer's recording room? I know what were you doing, trying to make yourself standout at the first day at NG. Watch your move.

nathanallenpinard responds:

Ok, just so you know. It's amazingly hard to get a job now. So the lazyness factor doesn't come in with equipment.

However, I wlil say experiment, and don't rush work. I sometimes really wish something was done right then and there, but my angle is I don't accept it to be done until it can't be improved anymore in any possible way without buying new stuff or hiring an orchestra.

Really nice

FL8 only, no other outside VST? Cool man, but I don't like the middle parts because it sound so weird or maybe this is a new style of dance music.

sumguy720 responds:

AHGH! I don't even know what VST means!!
I might look it up, because whatever it is, it sounds like it might help me make my stuff better.
And yeah, I've always sort of raised an eyebrow at this one as far as a dance track... it's probably more straight techno- Bah! You know. Cookie.... crumbling... how....
Thanks for the review!

very enjoyable

I like the drums, sounds like you used only one or two drum instruments for this song. Simple but still can beat the rhythm.

But the brasses sound very flat when you mix with the drums. Everything else is cool.

EvilRaccoon responds:

Yeah, I was wondering about that. It was one thing I heard later that the brass had to be brought forward. I'll pull back the drums a bit. Thanks, it helps me improve on my setup.

:D

Really nice!

best review ever ! :D

should be in Industrial section

Really nice, enjoyed this one.

Just need to fix the middle part.

From 1:17 to 1:49 sound so weird, you shouldn't put oboe or something sounds like choirs played in high pitch. I like the ending.

One more thing, classical music couldn't play great in fast tempo unless you know exactly how your melodies work. Never set too many instruments in one section, only for chorus. I admit that you should remove at least three instruments or else the song is overran.

Anyway very nice. Keep up working.

blackattackbitch responds:

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah that wasn't my personal favorite section either. If I could still work on it, I'd turn that whole section into a legato section, with Dbasses and Tuba staccatos playing the bassline. Well, there's a lot I would change about that section, especially the melody, since I kind of missed the mark with that section, which was supposed to be a more upbeat kind of rise, if you know what I mean. Like a battle where the good guys are winning, but the war is still pretty harmful.

Oh and that was choirs, btw. I used the same technique of combining the choir with the violin that I had used in my previous song. Probably should move on to a different technique though, it's getting old hahaha

And I wanted to simulate the effect of a full orchestra going full-force at that point, but you see how well that went also hahaha

thanks for the review!

Really cool

I like it. Rated five. Keep up.

blackattackbitch responds:

Thanks for checking it out, and thanks for the review!

Realy cool!

I love the piano parts. But the vocals seem a little mess in between the synths and pads.

ApproachingNirvana responds:

Thanks for the review! We'll take that into consideration when mixing further.

This should be in Ambient section

Love it! Really cool man!
